HEINEKEN Beverages has an exciting opportunity available for a suitable candidate for potential placement in its Cellar department. This position will be based at Wadeville Production.
Key Performance Areas
- Blend consistent quality products.
- Manage bulk stock effectively.
- Minimize losses and write-offs.
- Maintain effective administrative housekeeping.
- Supervise and motivate people.
- Ensure that products received adhere to company specifications.
- Liaise with the necessary departments concerning planned production.
- Plan and coordinate daily tasks.
- Ensure that departmental quality management documents are kept up to date.
- Participate in internal and self-audits.
- Oversee that the correct filtration material is used for the correct product.
- Manage finance, quality, and hygiene internal controls.
- Manage the cellar process according to TPM (Total Productivity Management) standards.
Experience and Skills
- Relevant diploma in food technology, food sciences, microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry, or engineering.
- Knowledge of spirits and wines will be advantageous.
- Experience managing and leading a team is essential.
- Experience managing an MDT area is essential.
- Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems, and make relevant decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and action-driven.
- Team player and innovator.
- Sound leadership and conflict-handling experience.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
- Computer literacy.
