The Gist

Part-time schedule with varied hours, typically Thursday through Sunday, for 20–24 hours per week.

The Taproom experience serves as an extension of Lagunitas’s connection with consumers. The Taproom Host greets and informs arriving guests about brewery tours, taproom hours, musical guests, and seating information.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome guests in an enthusiastic and friendly manner.
  • Maintain constant communication with servers and bussers to ensure efficient seating and pub procedures.
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date knowledge of brewery tour times and event schedules.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Lagunitas brand, history, and products.
  • Assist private parties with seating reservations.
  • Use OpenTable.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the host station and assist with taproom organization and sanitation.
  • Monitor guests in accordance with taproom rules, escalating issues to management or security as needed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork ethic.
  • General knowledge of craft beer is desired.

Key Relationships

Reports directly to the Taproom Manager.

Physical Requirements

Most of the shift is spent standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, and pushing. The environment is primarily indoors and outdoors and may involve noise and temperature changes.
