Who You’ll Work With
The Supply Chain Specialist II will work closely with the Supply Chain Specialist I and Business Analyst within the immediate team. They will work cross-functionally, both internally and externally, with Logistics & Transportation, Sales, and Account stakeholders. They will report to the Marketplace Supply Chain Manager in North America MSC.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist II to join the Nike Team. This role will be the Marketplace Supply Chain business owner focused on managing a healthy orderbook and driving optimal delivery performance for Partners. The specialist will manage day-to-day supply chain operations, work closely with Transportation and Distribution Center teams, deliver seasonal plans, meet financial objectives, and collaborate with cross-functional supply chain and commercial teams to optimize the order book.
Critical Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. Any suitable combination of education, experience, and training will be accepted.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, process improvement, or strategic communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and proactive approach.
- Ability to analyze, influence, and tell stories with data.
- Experience with SAP, Excel, and Tableau.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and develop short- and long-term supply chain strategies to support continuous improvement.
What You’ll Work On
You will be an account owner for one of Nike Marketplace Partners accounts and work in a fast-paced, matrixed, and sometimes ambiguous environment. You will lead with a consumer-first and omnichannel mindset to deliver competitive speed across all orders. Peer mentoring and training are also expected.
- Build expertise in Partners’ business requirements, routing guides, vendor agreements, and supply chain capabilities.
- Conduct operational calls, orderbook audits, and order-writing workshops to influence Partner order-writing behavior and maximize supply chain efficiencies.
- Work across Nike Marketplace Partners teams to develop, leverage, and streamline best practices.
- Monitor key KPIs by partnering with the Business Analyst on ship-goal forecasts and escalate risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Provide critical insights to Ship to Plan processes by collaborating with internal logistics and commercial teams and external supply chain teams.
- Drive standard reporting for in-season order tracking and forward-looking visibility to ensure on-time delivery and efficient supply chain flow.
