Purpose / Mission
Lead a team of retail associates by example and achieve store sales targets by diligently executing store operations, providing support and feedback to retail professionals, and inspiring consumer loyalty to the brand through active selling.
Accountabilities
Sales & Business Acumen
- Be aware of store sales, KPI, and individual performance targets, take ownership of them, and use available store resources to meet or exceed them.
- Identify sales and KPI improvement opportunities and communicate suggestions to store management.
- Manage and supervise store staff to achieve sales targets.
- Lead store personnel in implementing and adhering to retail management standards.
- Maintain an effective stock management system to maximize sales and profitability and minimize shrinkage.
- Implement seasonal and quarterly merchandise launches and in-store marketing promotions.
Customer Service
- Model excellent customer service and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Share customer service experience and train selected team members to improve their service skills.
- Support retail professionals in complex customer service situations.
- Ensure a strong management presence on the selling floor and consistently excellent customer service.
Brand and Products
- Act as a Brand Ambassador and consistently exhibit adidas Brand Attitude and Values.
- Use advanced category expertise to meet the needs of demanding customers.
- Guide and train selected team members on foundational, seasonal, brand, and product knowledge.
Operations and Processes
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising and in-store communication standards.
- Process merchandise deliveries efficiently and replenish fixtures so the full product offer is represented on the sales floor.
- Conduct stock checks and manage fitting rooms or stock rooms.
- Complete cash register transactions quickly and accurately.
- Keep the store environment clean, neat, and tidy.
- Minimize loss in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Perform store operations safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Teamwork and Leadership
- Collaborate productively and respectfully with team members.
- Support other team members when needed.
- Complete applicable training programs and apply the learning on the job.
- Seek coaching and learning opportunities to continually improve performance.
Professional Background / Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a supervisor or store-in-charge.
- Preferably experience in apparel, fashion, footwear, or FMCG retail.
- Exposure to sports or fashion.
- At least a Diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Candidates with equivalent professional certification or extensive relevant retail experience are encouraged to apply.
