Job description

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Dubai as a GMD Structurer, as part of the Global Markets Division - Structuring team.

Strategy and business development

• Design tailored financial solutions for clients, working closely with sales, trading and risk management teams.
• Contribute to new product development by monitoring market trends and regulatory changes.
• Support and train sales teams on products and pricing tools.
• Report regularly to management and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Managing and reporting

• Report as Structurer, MEA.
• Report to management on an ad hoc basis when business needs require it, including local NBI and commercial performance and sensitive files.

Risk

• Adhere to CA-CIB policies and remain alert to risks arising from transactions for the bank and clients.
• Seek validation from Trading, CPL or LGL, as relevant, on transactions involving a risk position for the bank.
• Consider compliance and reputational risks when designing client solutions.
• Ensure the solution is appropriate for the client's objectives.

Legal and regulatory responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements and complete mandatory training.
• Report fraud or financial crime risks to the dedicated compliance officer.
• Maintain the skills and certifications required for the role.

Eligibility for a VIE

• Be less than 28 years old.
• Hold a postgraduate Master's degree.
• Be an EU citizen.

Requirements

Academic background: Finance engineering, quantitative finance or structuring.

Experience: Experience in a dealing room; 0-2 years of experience.

Hard skills: Structuring skills including pricing, writing term sheets, product design and execution; good understanding of financial instruments; mathematical mindset; IT literacy with fluency in spreadsheets, VBA and coding.

Soft skills: Motivation, team orientation and good communication.

IT tools: Bloomberg, MS Office and Reuters.

Languages: English at a very good level.
