Job Description
As a member of a team providing services to Airbus, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Size structural parts, components, and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state-of-the-art analysis tools, FEM techniques, and classic handbook methods.
- Conduct trade-off analyses for design solutions and structural concepts.
- Analyze mechanical systems and equipment integration.
- Prepare analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification.
- Assess damage and develop repairs for in-service aircraft.
- Support manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluate concessions and nonconformities.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments.
Qualifications
- Master's or Diploma degree in aerospace engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Business-fluent English and German.
- Several years of experience as an engineer in aircraft structural analysis.
- Experience in stress analysis of pipework or impact simulations is a plus.
- Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods, such as HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, and Roark & Young.
- Solid experience with stress analysis and FEM tools such as Nastran and Hyperworks.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to work in teams across multiple disciplines.
