We're looking for an experienced retail leader to work in the Spencer Street Factory Outlet in Melbourne, VIC. Retail leaders are expected to lead from the front and inspire success in people management and store management.
Responsibilities
- Manage, motivate and lead the team to achieve KPIs, sales targets and an exceptional customer experience.
- Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success.
- Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo.
- Address improvement areas with the District Manager or other retail back-office partners as needed.
- Drive continuous improvements in store sales, productivity and profitability.
- Lead service by example and maximize time spent selling and leading team members on the sales floor.
- Identify and develop strong performers with potential for growth.
- Conduct staff training and coaching to drive KPI performance.
- Manage retail operations within a clearance store environment.
- Coordinate execution of visual merchandising, in-store communication and inventory processing standards.
- Share best practices to improve overall store team performance.
Successful candidate
You will have a commercial mindset, a strong retail background and a proven record of success in a similar retail leadership or supervisory position, consistently leading a team to achieve budgeted sales. You should be motivated, energetic, passionate about achievement and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Retail Store Manager experience in men's or women's apparel or sports footwear is desirable but not essential. Experience coaching and mentoring a team is highly regarded.
