NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager, referred to as a Head Coach, to lead the Nike Store in Battery Park City, New York.

As Store Manager, you will lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience while creating an inclusive and supportive environment. You will drive store growth strategies, build community partnerships, and represent Nike’s culture of sport, service, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of store management experience.
  • Experience with retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Proven ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Nike products and services with enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge.
  • Lead the team and cultivate a store environment that achieves sales, service, organization, customer satisfaction, profitability, safety, and operational goals.
  • Foster a high-performing, engaged team culture based on recognition and rewards.
  • Drive operational excellence and execute brand initiatives, including P/L statements, labor management, expenses, activations, and programs.
  • Lead business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management.
  • Work with District Partners on enterprise-wide initiatives and programs.

Schedule and compensation

This is a full-time role requiring 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends. The annual base salary ranges from $97,200 to $145,800, depending on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
