Stockroom Specialist

Purpose & impact on organization

Contributes to achieving or exceeding sales figures and KPI targets by actively working within the team to achieve or exceed relevant KPIs in the store’s stockroom area.

Collaborates with the OPS and stockroom team to ensure optimal operational and safe stockroom processes, supporting logistics, inventory management, stock-to-floor service, Click and Collect, Ship from Store, and other omnichannel services.

Responsibilities

• Understand store goals and actively work to achieve or exceed them.
• Act as a role model in behavior and performance, supporting the line manager in ensuring processes are followed.
• Support the goods receipt process and help receive deliveries quickly and accurately while protecting inventory.
• Manage inventory movements into and out of the store through inventory control and omnichannel processes.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to manage resources and supplies and resolve issues.
• Support inventory accuracy through stocktaking, cyclical inventories, and adjustment controls.
• Support training, development, and stockroom-related health and safety matters.
• Support store replenishment, omnichannel, and logistics operations.
• Work productively, efficiently, and respectfully with team members to achieve store goals.
• Assist other team members during replenishment and complete appropriately assigned tasks.
• Continue learning and use available resources to improve personal performance.

Required education and experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer- and commerce-oriented retail environment in the sports or fashion sector.
• Knowledge and experience in stockroom operations and understanding of the retail industry.
• Training as a warehouse specialist or knowledge or training in logistics.
• Good Hungarian and basic English language skills.
• Intermediate numeracy, literacy, and spelling skills, with advanced verbal communication skills.
