Position Summary
The Staging Center Manager oversees staging center operations, including asset receiving, inventory management, device configuration, deployment readiness, logistics coordination, and staff management. The role ensures efficient preparation and delivery of IT equipment to support customer projects, field operations, and service delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily staging center operations and improve operational workflows.
- Manage receiving, staging, configuring, testing, shipping, and returning technology assets.
- Lead, coach, and develop staging technicians and field engineers.
- Maintain hardware inventory accuracy, asset tracking, inventory controls, and audit procedures.
- Oversee device imaging, configuration, testing, quality control, and deployment readiness.
- Manage shipping, receiving, warehousing, reverse logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Manage operational budgets, equipment purchases, resource planning, and performance reporting.
- Partner with project managers, field services teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, customer requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT operations, deployment services, logistics, inventory management, or technical service delivery.
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience managing technology deployment, asset management, or staging center operations.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, asset lifecycle management, inventory control systems, ServiceNow, and endpoint management tools such as Intune, Autopilot, or SCCM.
- Reporting and data analysis skills using Excel and operational dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, ITIL Foundation, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or related certifications.
- Experience managing enterprise hardware deployment programs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a warehouse and staging environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and inspect operations throughout the workday.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation range for this role is $64,366.00–$115,000.00 USD.
