Stage - Chargé(e) de Sécurité / Processus d'évaluation des Risques Sanctions Internationales H/F

The Compliance Department ensures compliance with the legislative, regulatory, professional and ethical standards governing banking and financial activities. Within Crédit Agricole S.A.'s Financial Security – Steering and Transformation unit, you will support projects and risk-management processes related to financial security.
To comply with OFAC regulations, Crédit Agricole assesses the risks associated with breaches of international sanctions. This annual assessment is led by the Group as part of the EWRA (Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment), taking into account risk indicators arising from the activities conducted throughout the Group.
You will work daily with Crédit Agricole Group entities in France and internationally. This internship will provide training in international sanctions and related risk-control measures, including KYC, filtering and screening.
Main responsibilities
- Support assessed entities by responding to their questions during the campaign.
- Process quantitative and qualitative data from questionnaires completed by assessed entities.
- Perform consistency checks on data and information received, incorporating, where applicable, reports from General Inspection or audit teams, regulators, and incidents reported to the International Sanctions Financial Security team.
- Report campaign progress and any difficulties encountered to the management team.
- Monitor progress for your portfolio of assessed entities, including sending reminders.
- Contribute to summaries of risk exposure for entities in your portfolio.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the exercise, including optimisation and updating supporting documents such as FAQs.
Profile
- Postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent).
- Specialisation in compliance, risk, law, banking or insurance management.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of the banking environment and international sanctions.
- Analytical, synthesis and communication skills.
- Curiosity, proactivity, organisation and rigour.
- Operational English.
The internship starts on 1 April 2027 and lasts six months. The company will pay an allowance if the internship lasts more than two consecutive months.
