Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
adidas Global Business Services (GBS) is the engine driving the transformation to ONE adidas. It is the company’s operational backbone, delivering standard global services while enhancing customer experience and providing consistent skills and quality. This role supports account reconciliation, timely review and follow-up for supplier accounts, and analytical reporting within Source to Pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to internal customers on GBS Source to Pay processes and policies and resolve queries from internal customers and suppliers.
- Facilitate efficient use of the Source to Pay system, including Ariba Guided Buying.
- Review open items and support reconciliation between supplier accounts and supplier statements, request missing documents, and follow up on potential reimbursements.
- Ensure timely cross-checks on regular controls as needed.
- Perform quality checks on purchase requests, including non-trade-related requests.
- Analyze debit balance accounts promptly by working closely with suppliers and other finance teams.
- Resolve causes of non-payment, request missing and complementary information, and execute appropriate follow-ups.

Prerequisites
- Strong finance acumen.
- Solid experience with SAP.
- Experience in a shared service environment or similar.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Czech in a business setting.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work within complex organizations and across functions, audiences, management styles, and cultures.
- Highly results-driven and self-motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust, and perseverance.
- Curious and growth-minded, with a willingness to learn and approach subjects outside of your comfort zone.
