Spare Parts Engineering Specialist

Job Overview

You will be responsible for:

• Spare parts definition and creation for various vehicle assemblies.
• Establishing part supersessions by analyzing engineering change notes, 3D updates, and documentation updates.
• Resolving technical queries related to spare parts documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Principle Accountability

• Own end-to-end spare parts definition and creation deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Logistics and Technical teams, to clarify requirements and resolve queries.
• Monitor the team's progress and ensure task completion within the agreed SLA.
• Take responsibility for committed projects, resource planning, and alignment with department strategy while maintaining quality, cost, and time objectives.
• Monitor, track, and achieve project KPIs according to yearly agreements.
• Ensure QMS standards are regularly followed, tracked, and monitored.
• Connect regularly with stakeholders for partner engagement and escalation management when required.
• Participate in innovation and continuous improvement activities.
• Improve competency over time.

Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in engineering change management, including variant control and BOM management.
• Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems and part lifecycle management.
• German language proficiency.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
