Role overview
We are looking for a Solution Architect who possesses solid technical expertise and fluent English, to work on critical projects led by a global leader in maritime transport. This is a general data-oriented profile working across several customer areas within an IT competence center.
Role essentials
- Collect and challenge business needs, ensure exchanges with stakeholders, and translate functional needs into technical solutions.
- Design and formalize the TAD (Technical Architecture Design), argue the choices made, and ensure its presentation.
- Define and maintain a coherent, robust architecture aligned with the company’s standards and roadmap.
- Adopt a generalist approach by working on a wide range of applications and technologies.
- Ensure the transfer of design to the technical teams and support implementation.
- Propose improvements to tools, methods, and best practices.
- Participate in architecture governance and guarantee the quality of deliverables.
Professional skills
- Experience in data integration and processing.
- Ability to develop quickly with modern data processing technologies such as Snowflake and Qlik Sense.
- Familiarity with Data Lake high-level design and medallion architecture, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze layers, to define service levels.
- Solid knowledge of orchestration, APIs, ESB, and application flows.
- Good understanding of BPM and RPA environments.
- Ability to dialogue with business lines, understand their needs, and propose appropriate solutions.
- English language at B2 level.
Nice to have
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCM, or Azure.
- API experience with Kong, Apigee, Mulesoft, SpringBoot, or Camel.
- Event and integration or streaming experience with Solace, Pulsar, Kafka, or Flink.
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Lucid App for visualization, management, and documentation.
- Willingness to make an average of 1–2 trips to Marseille per year.
- French language skills.
