Role – Software Engineer – Supply Chain Digitalization

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks and improvement opportunities across supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into analytical use cases and data-driven solutions.
• Design and develop dashboards, KPIs and visualization solutions to enable actionable business insights.
• Partner with product owners, data engineers and development teams to ensure scalable implementation of solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• 0–3 years of professional experience in Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Supply Chain Analytics or Digital Application development.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software development processes, bridging backend and frontend development.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes including planning, logistics, inventory management or manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analytical insights to technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Exposure to process mining and operational intelligence platforms such as Celonis.
• Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz business processes, systems and digital transformation initiatives would be an advantage.
