NIKE, Inc. is seeking Software Engineering Interns to support various functions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate can see the big picture, understand how technology impacts the organization, and has a passion for consumer-facing digital technology and innovation.

What You Will Experience

In the NIKE, Inc. Summer Internship Program, you’ll contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives aligned with NIKE, Inc.’s strategic roadmap. With guidance from senior leaders and experienced managers, you’ll take ownership of a scoped project designed to drive impact, develop your skills, strengthen critical thinking, and foster collaboration.

Intern Project Examples Include

  • Designing and building innovative web or mobile experiences that make it easier and more engaging for consumers to interact with NIKE’s digital products.
  • Improving the performance, scalability, or reliability of backend services supporting NIKE’s consumer-facing platforms and applications.
  • Analyzing product and consumer data, then collaborating in brainstorming sessions to recommend and prototype features that better meet consumer expectations.

This is a 10-week paid internship opportunity with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
  • Background in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field.
  • 0–2 years of work experience.
  • Resume submission, with PDF strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Foundational programming experience in at least one language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or Swift, gained through coursework, academic projects, or personal projects.
  • Ability to write organized, readable code and use basic testing and debugging practices.
  • Understanding of core software development concepts, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, or web development fundamentals.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Exposure to designing or building web or mobile applications through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, student organizations, research, or a previous internship.
  • Familiarity with tools such as React, Node.js, Xcode, or Android Studio.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms or services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to version control, APIs, databases, collaborative coding, or code review practices.

This internship is located in person at the NIKE, Inc. Philip H. Knight Campus in Beaverton, Oregon.
