Job Description

As a member of a team providing services, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards, including DO-178C and DO-254, and safety-critical software development practices.
  • Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT or Information Systems and Aerospace Engineering.
  • Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications.
  • Familiarity with avionics standards such as ARINC 653 and DO-178C and safety-critical software development.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Experience with C/C++, Ada, and real-time operating systems such as VxWorks.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, including resource segregation and drivers.
  • Knowledge of x86, ARM, and RISC-V hardware architectures.
  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies.
  • Self-reliant and systematic approach to work.
  • Ability to work in an international team.
  • Strong communication, networking, and teamwork skills.
