We are seeking a Senior Store Manager to run our iconic Sydney Brand Centre (Halo Store), an elevated store concept in the heart of Sydney CBD.

The Senior Store Manager of Sydney Brand Centre oversees and is responsible for the performance and consumer experience of an adidas Halo store. A Halo store is the pinnacle of the adidas retail experience for consumers across sales and customer service, people, training and product knowledge, operations, visual merchandising, and activation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Success: Lead, manage, and direct the leadership team to deliver sales, profits, and brand standards. Monitor resources and organize processes to drive profitability, use store and market data to make commercial decisions, and apply sound financial judgment.
  • Brand Standards: Communicate and demonstrate adidas brand values and the Pacific Retail Mission. Maintain an effective, efficient, and stable retail environment, implement adidas policies and strategies, ensure operational compliance and continuous improvement, and deliver required reporting.
  • Self-Learning and Talent Management: Improve operations and processes, lead HR planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, and development initiatives, and actively develop succession plans while adhering to HR policies.
  • Service and Selling Culture: Coach the store management team to increase profitability, drive AREA, and create a leading shopping experience. Understand consumer behavior, create a consumer-focused service culture, deliver product and brand training, set performance targets, provide feedback, manage performance, motivate teams, lead by example, collaborate with peers, and pursue ongoing development.

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

  • English spoken and written.
  • Five years of flagship or A-grade store experience.
  • Experience operating personal computers, POS systems, and software including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of profit and loss statements and store KPIs, with the ability to make commercially sound financial decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and maintain high performance standards.
  • An inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment.
