Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the global real estate portfolio, including leases and transactions, design, construction, and operations for adidas offices, showrooms, and distribution centers.

The Senior Specialist Multimedia Operations & Service Delivery ensures the reliable day-to-day delivery and operational excellence of multimedia services across the workplace environment in Germany. The role provides hands-on operational support, advanced troubleshooting, service governance, and documentation management to maintain service stability and room readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned ServiceNow ASPEN tickets, document troubleshooting steps and resolution details, and escalate recurring or critical issues to the Manager Operations.
  • Perform daily multimedia operations, including room readiness checks, system health checks, monitoring follow-up, incident investigation, and scheduled maintenance activities for AV and workplace multimedia systems.
  • Support digital signage operations, collaboration spaces, AV systems, multimedia rooms, event spaces, and defined workplace technology platforms.
  • Provide senior-level troubleshooting expertise for complex AV, collaboration, digital signage, and workplace multimedia issues, including vendor coordination where required.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures, asset information, lifecycle data, RMA readiness, support knowledge articles, and operational knowledge bases.
  • Support project-to-operations handovers by validating documentation completeness, supportability, training needs, monitoring readiness, spare-part readiness, and operational acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to project delivery, acceptance, and handover through SAT checks, room and system validation, asset capture, monitoring checks, and handover documentation.
  • Support Event Experience during event peaks with readiness checks, system validation, troubleshooting, and operational backup.
  • Support the Manager Operations in identifying required tools, access rights, training, vendor information, and operational knowledge needed to resolve incidents effectively.
  • Identify recurring issues, user-impact patterns, lifecycle risks, missing documentation, and improvement opportunities, and feed them into service improvement and maintenance planning.
  • Ensure project lessons learned are reflected in service standards, operational documentation, and future service improvements.

Workplaces SLT; Legal; Finance, Controlling & Procurement; adidas Brand Events; Corporate Communications; Tech / IT Infrastructure; Network; Collaboration Services and Digital Signage; external multimedia service partners, AV integrators, planners, and manufacturers; and adidas employees and visitors using workplace multimedia, event, and collaboration services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced understanding of workplace multimedia systems, AV signal flow, collaboration technology, digital signage, AV control systems, audio DSP, network-dependent AV components, and operational service support.
  • Strong structured troubleshooting skills for complex AV, collaboration, digital signage, and workplace multimedia issues.
  • Ability to work independently on incidents, maintenance tasks, and service documentation while clearly recording outcomes and follow-up actions.
  • Strong documentation discipline for technical system records, SOPs, asset information, service knowledge articles, and operational handover documentation.
  • Ability to support operational acceptance and transition of new systems into stable service delivery.
  • Strong service mindset and ability to coordinate with users, service owners, Tech, vendors, project teams, and support resources.
  • Willingness to support event peaks and project delivery as part of an integrated service model.
  • Fluent in English; German is beneficial for local service delivery.

Education and Experience

  • Degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent professional experience in Media Technology, AV Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of professional experience in the AV technology field.
  • Experience with enterprise AV systems, meeting room technologies, LED solutions, collaboration platforms, and workplace technology environments.
  • Training in Microsoft Teams Rooms, Dante, AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, Yamaha, or similar technologies is beneficial.
