Senior Shop Assistant

Purpose & impact on organization

Contributes to meeting or exceeding store sales and KPI targets by building emotional connections with customers, serving and selling to customers, executing store operations, and providing feedback and support to selected team members.

Key responsibilities

• Works actively to meet or exceed store targets using all available resources.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and communicates suggestions to store management.
• Acts as a role model for customer service and uses advanced sales techniques.
• Shares customer service experience and trains selected team members.
• Uses category expertise and enthusiasm for the brand to drive sales and customer loyalty.
• Guides and trains selected team members on product knowledge.
• Maintains visual merchandising, housekeeping, and store safety standards.
• Assists with deliveries and replenishes the sales floor.
• Completes sales transactions accurately while following cash protection procedures.
• Minimizes loss through sales floor awareness.
• Collaborates with team members to meet or exceed store goals.
• Supports other team members when needed and pursues ongoing development.

Knowledge, capabilities and experience

• Fluent Polish and intermediate English.
• Advanced retail professional competencies.
• At least six months of experience in a sports or fashion customer- and commercially focused retail environment.
• Advanced selling experience and solid product, retail, and industry understanding.
• Basic numeracy and literacy with advanced verbal communication skills.
