Your Role
As a Senior SAP S/4HANA Backend Developer, you are a key contributor in a multidisciplinary team, responsible for designing and delivering high-quality backend solutions. You work with the newest S/4HANA development technologies to build robust, scalable backend components for cloud or on-premise environments.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs and ensure smooth architectural integration.
- Develop backend solutions using ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, and SAP BTP extensibility.
- Share best practices and guide colleagues.
- Provide accurate development estimates for reliable planning.
- Collaborate with functional, architecture, and front-end colleagues to deliver high-quality work on time.
- Shape technical decisions and advise clients on backend design and development approaches.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA backend development.
- Experience with ABAP or ABAP OO, RAP, CDS views and OData services, SAP BTP or CAP-based extensions, and SAP/non-SAP integration.
- Understanding of modern SAP development principles, including cloud-ready development and clean core.
- Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
