In the Czech Republic, Eviden is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Developer / Lead SAP Developer with deep SAP technical expertise, knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles, and the ability to act as a technical leader among developers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement developments in SAP S/4HANA in accordance with Clean Core principles.
  • Provide technical leadership to SAP developers within projects and across teams.
  • Define and promote best practices in SAP development.
  • Decide on appropriate extension approaches, including in-app, on-stack, and side-by-side development on SAP BTP.
  • Track and introduce the latest SAP trends, including BTP, extensibility, event-driven architecture, and Fiori.
  • Collaborate with SAP architects and functional consultants.
  • Conduct code reviews, define development standards, and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Resolve technically complex scenarios and escalations.
  • Support solution design during the Explore and Realize phases.

Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of SAP ABAP, including OO, CDS, and RAP, and practical experience with SAP S/4HANA projects.
  • Experience with the Clean Core approach and assessment of development requirements.
  • Knowledge of in-app extensibility and side-by-side development on SAP BTP.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and integration scenarios such as APIs and events is an advantage.
  • Ability to design solutions with long-term sustainability and low technical debt.
  • Experience with code reviews and technical team leadership.
  • Ability to defend technical decisions to architects and customers.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and develop other developers.
  • Analytical thinking, a structured approach, proactivity, and motivation to advance SAP development.
  • University degree in a technical or IT field.
  • SAP certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, or BTP is an advantage.
