Atos is seeking a Project Manager with strong Transition and Pre-Sales experience to initiate, plan and lead projects that deliver to time, cost and quality. The role combines structured project delivery with solution-oriented pre-sales expertise, from early design through to successful execution.
The successful candidate will shape delivery plans, coordinate project resources, monitor budgets, manage risks and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. They will also work with the Pre-Sales Programme Manager, bid solution leads and delivery leads to design robust, scalable and customer-focused transition solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end transition programmes, from small discrete transitions to large, complex, multi-workstream programmes.
- Own and manage Transition Plans, including mobilisation, knowledge transfer, exit and go-live readiness.
- Establish and drive programme governance, including RAID management, working groups, boards, reporting and stage gates.
- Coordinate customers, incumbent suppliers, internal delivery teams and third parties to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Produce bid responses and develop Transition Programme Plans for pre-sales activities.
- Cost transition budgets and present transition approaches during bid presentations.
Skills We Can’t Do Without
- Strong experience delivering complex Transition Programmes and understanding of the end-to-end transition lifecycle.
- Excellent written communication and bid-writing skills.
- Experience establishing and operating RAID management and governance structures.
- Experience leading multiple workstreams and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to develop, own and manage integrated transition plans and costed transition budgets.
Skills We’d Like
- Experience presenting Transition Plans and approaches in customer-facing bid presentations.
- Background coordinating transitions involving multiple suppliers or complex environments.
Additional Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC clearance. The role is UK-based, with remote working available and national mobility required.
