Senior NOC Core CS Engineer / Technical Lead

Your role

• Provide technical leadership within the NOC, ensuring network and service availability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Lead major incident management, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities across multiple technology domains.
• Act as a senior point of reference for operational teams, driving technical guidance and decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient issue resolution and service continuity.
• Contribute to process improvement, operational governance, and NOC performance management.
• Mentor and support engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Depending on the profile, act as either a Core CS / Voice Core technical lead or a transversal NOC lead with end-to-end network oversight.

Your profile

• Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in Mobile Core Network engineering, support, or operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English within a technical environment.
• Knowledge of core network platforms including HLR, HSS/HSS-FE, CUDB, UDM, UDR, AuC, EIR, and DNS.
• Knowledge of IMS and Voice Core technologies including CSCF, MTAS, MGW, MGC, MRF, and Media Server.
• Knowledge of signaling and interconnect technologies including SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, SIP, SBC, and STP.
• Experience with Ericsson and Huawei vendors.
