What you’ll be working on as a Senior MES Consultant
As a senior MES Engineer specializing in Siemens Opcenter Execution at Capgemini, you will work on transforming production environments into smart factories.
- Work on large-scale MES Core Model rollouts and traceability upgrades in international companies in Pharma and Food & Beverage.
- Drive digital transformation in pharmaceutical projects by moving from paper to Electronic Batch Records and MES modernization.
- Launch sustainable product lines in the chemical industry using modern MES for batch production, compliance, and end-to-end data capture.
Responsibilities
- Support the automation team in designing and integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems that enable real-time data processing, automation, and operational excellence.
- Design interfaces between MES and ERP systems to improve data flow and operational coordination.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for MES development and integration.
- Develop manufacturing recipes following ISA95 standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements and develop IT documentation for MES systems.
Your profile
- Hands-on experience in MES, Historian systems, and Manufacturing Operations Management.
- Strong understanding of batch processes and data integration.
- Experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution modeling is essential; pharmaceutical industry experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to guide and mentor technical teams in design, coding, integration, configuration, deployment, and best practices.
