Enable the sustainable supply chain to produce sustainable product through comprehensive sustainability management. Develop the strategic direction and execute strategic initiatives within the supply chain while collaborating and operating in a dynamic work environment that demands agility and flexibility.
Job scope
- Develop and execute strategic programs on environmental-related subjects within the global supply chain.
- Support the development of a strategic global supply chain roadmap, including program requirements and objectives.
- Drive sustainability programs and projects across the global supply chain.
- Provide strategic and technical advice on program development, field ESG operations, compliance breaches, and continuous improvement.
- Define supply chain risks and opportunities through materiality assessments and align on risk-taking strategies.
- Connect and collaborate with industry stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor regulatory legislation and guidelines in the EU, US, and key sourcing markets, ensuring policies and guidelines remain current and compliant.
- Provide business partners with clear global supply chain summaries of program performance and impacts.
- Raise internal awareness of environmental requirements and programs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain performance.
- Ensure sourcing operations comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards, and legal requirements.
- Role-model leadership to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.

PD&S, Corporate Internal Audit, Global Legal, industry associations, NGOs, professional institutions, laboratories, and external monitors.
Requisite Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience managing environmental-related aspects; apparel or footwear experience is preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant project leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- At least 3 years of people and team management experience.
