Job Objective

Lead, develop, implement, and manage software quality policies and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in software development for telematics, infotainment, and AD/ADAS products.

Lead the team in defining, evaluating, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the activities, tasks, and resources required for project development. Formulate project development plans, manage and control business development for various systems, coordinate cross-functional teams and project resource needs, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Lead a team of Software Test Engineers, including recruiting, mentoring, and organizing the team. Transform the team from primarily manual testing to a model that effectively uses automated tests in a continuous integration environment.

Build up DevOps in China for efficient software continuous development, integration, and testing processes and tool chains. Support lean agile transformation across R&D organizations.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree or above in science and engineering, project management, or a related field.

Experience

More than 10 years of experience at a well-known automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
More than 6 years of R&D software project management experience and experience managing at least two complete R&D projects.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes, including Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD.
Familiarity with vehicle development processes and software product development models such as Automotive SPICE and CMMI.
Proficiency in project management practices; PMP certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and suites.
Strong team management, communication, organization, coordination, execution, problem-solving, and resilience skills.

Specific Knowledge

Native Chinese speaker with fluent English; German is beneficial.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a global, multicultural environment.
Automotive knowledge of signal-based communication, including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and SOME/IP.
Knowledge of functional safety in Adaptive AUTOSAR is beneficial.
Supplier management experience.
