Job Description
As a LIMS Engineer / Senior LIMS Engineer, you will support, enhance, and evolve LabVantage LIMS deployments across a global network of laboratory environments.
- Provide L2/L3 application support for LabVantage LIMS across more than 40 global sites, resolving incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within SLA timelines.
- Design, develop, and implement LIMS configurations, workflows, and customizations aligned with Quality and R&D requirements.
- Manage integrations between LIMS and laboratory instruments, ERP systems including SAP and Oracle, MES or manufacturing systems, and data platforms.
- Support API integrations and data migration activities.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, GMP, GLP, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO standards, including audit trails, validation documentation, change control, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
- Drive workflow automation, process standardization, performance optimization, knowledge base articles, and SOPs.
Your profile
- Seven or more years of hands-on experience in LIMS support and development, preferably with LabVantage or equivalent platforms such as LabWare or STARLIMS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Java, JavaScript, web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, LIMS BASIC, LabVantage configuration, and visual workflows.
- Understanding of laboratory processes in QC and R&D environments, including sample lifecycle management, testing workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI or Business Objects.
