The Role
Digital Transformation Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join the Insight practice within Atos UK Consulting. This consulting-led role combines deep technical expertise with strong client-facing skills to translate complex business challenges into secure, scalable, and responsible data- and AI-driven solutions.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Data Scientist Consultant, you will work with public sector and enterprise clients to identify high-value analytics and AI use cases, design and deliver end-to-end solutions, and support their operationalisation at scale. You will contribute across the full lifecycle, from discovery and experimentation through to production deployment and capability building.
What you will do
- Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify high-value AI and analytics use cases, and define success measures.
- Design, prototype, validate, and deliver end-to-end data science and AI solutions from discovery through to production.
- Develop and evaluate statistical models, machine learning systems, and generative AI solutions, including LLM-based and RAG-enabled approaches.
- Support operationalisation, including deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to responsible and ethical AI adoption, identifying and mitigating privacy, security, and safety risks.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to reusable accelerators, best practices, and Insight capability development.
