Tasks

Mercedes-Benz Management Consulting is the internal consulting unit of Mercedes-Benz AG. Working closely with top management, the team develops transformative strategies, accelerates digital growth, supports business transformation, enables automation of the core business, and develops innovative digital business models.

As a Senior Consultant (Strategy), you will develop strategies and solutions for the management of Mercedes-Benz and support the company's digital transformation. You will lead subprojects, take responsibility for work packages and their successful implementation, and help shape the future of mobility from your first day. Training and coaching programs, three to five annual training days, and diverse projects support your professional development.

You may also contribute to internal initiatives such as Women@MBMC, Diversity@MBMC, recruiting events, and the training portfolio.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on strategic and operational questions.
Develop new strategies and solutions in close interaction with clients.
Take responsibility for the successful implementation of sub-work packages.
Lead subprojects and manage and coach subproject teams.
Coordinate teams working on individual work packages.
Derive new conceptual approaches and methods for future projects.

Qualifications

Excellent academic degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar discipline.
Several years of professional experience at an international strategy consultancy, in corporate strategy at an automotive company, or in related industries.
Excellent consulting and/or industry expertise in the automotive sector.
International experience through assignments abroad lasting several months.
Fluent German and English language skills.
Strong ability to abstract complex issues and present them clearly.
Optional knowledge of digital business models and ecosystems; agile product or software development, including Design Thinking, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD; backlog planning or requirements engineering; and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills, strong communication and presentation abilities, drive to make an impact, and pronounced teamwork skills.
