Senior Consultant- Finance Transformation

About the practice

Finance & Enterprise Value is the finance strategy and transformation advisory practice within Enterprise Model & Strategy. The practice helps CFOs and senior leaders identify, convert and sustain value across the enterprise through value strategy and modelling, strategic finance delivery, and finance transformation.

Role responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and support delivery of large and complex operational finance, performance, cost improvement and transformation projects.
• Define business challenges and shape actionable solutions grounded in strategic thinking and evidence-based insights.
• Develop and present practical, robust recommendations that withstand client scrutiny.
• Build long-lasting client relationships, act as a trusted advisor and identify business development opportunities.
• Coach and develop team members, support performance management and recruitment.
• Contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches, internal campaigns, thought leadership and practice development.

Experience and attributes

• Strong management consulting background, with experience building and guiding teams, mobilising workstreams and delivering projects.
• Experience with performance improvement techniques and the finance value chain, including at least two core processes such as O2C, P2P, R2R, FP&A, T2F or Treasury, and/or cost performance programmes.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience structuring, planning and leading project workstreams and contributing to service redesign or transformation programmes.
• Experience supporting business development, sales activities, value propositions, proposals or thought leadership.
• Fully qualified UK Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or progressing towards qualification and on track to complete within 12 months.

Desirable experience

• Designing or delivering solutions that leverage artificial intelligence.
• Working with finance teams in large, complex or global organisations and familiarity with modern finance organisation principles.
