You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of reconciliations, including asset and cash accounts, via NXG to ensure positions between the ledger and relevant custodians agree. As a control function, reconciliation breaks must be kept to a minimum to ensure accurate data is maintained. You will deliver services to external and internal clients with a high level of quality and efficiency while fostering a client-first mindset.
You will support the Europe region during working hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Flexibility is required to support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Review and clear daily or monthly cash and asset reconciliations via the Reconciliations Platform.
- Maintain, monitor, and resolve query items relating to Global Reconciliations.
- Investigate all cash and asset breaks and ensure they are assigned to the appropriate departments.
- Produce and maintain periodic reporting to support client and business needs.
- Produce and maintain statistical information for internal and client distribution.
Requirements
Must-have
- Banking experience in operations or back office.
- Good knowledge of reconciliations.
- Familiarity with reconciliation platforms or tools is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with Nostro, suspense, and asset reconciliations within investment, global markets, securities, or custody operations.
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and networking abilities with sub-custodians and internal departments.
