What is the opportunity?

Strategically located in IOI City, Putrajaya, the company employs over 1,200 skilled professionals, providing a broad spectrum of services to institutional clients across Europe.
Reporting to the Manager, Static Data team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update and maintenance of all static data in MDC and GP. Setups would include creation and/or amendment of static data in all the processing systems. You will support the global business with 8 working hours a day. Shift hours would be between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
What will you do?
- Control and validate market data coming from data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
- Analyze and execute corporate action events, including dividends, spin-offs and share splits.
- Ensure internal and external enquiries are managed on time and to a high quality standard.
- Be accountable for global servicing from the operating location, including shifts and work on bank, legal holidays and weekends when required.
- Promote quality deliverables by motivating, coaching and developing team members.
- Ensure cross-training and rotation of duties occurs regularly to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Periodically review processes to refresh understanding of requirements and review compliance.

Training and specialization
- Banking experience in operations with basic static data knowledge.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg or other service providers is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with core platforms, including MDC and GP.
- Competence in MS Office.
