The role's purpose is to drive value delivery and operational excellence in contract management of raw and packaging materials, reduce COGS at European level, and establish supplier relationship management for key categories.
Your responsibilities
- Lead supplier performance management and security of supply for all HGP-contracted raw and packaging materials for all OpCos in Europe, covering annual spend of EUR 1.5 billion.
- Support collaboration with HGP category managers by challenging and translating global strategy in preparation for OpCo execution.
- Act as a key person in OpCo-Hub-HGP escalations on savings delivery and security of supply.
- Lead at least one additional savings project within the relevant OpCo scope.
- Coordinate actions between suppliers, Quality and S&OP Hubs, and sometimes OpCo management teams or Marketing.
- Deliver projects from design through realization.
Requirements
- University master's degree in a business, financial, commercial, economic or technical discipline; Procurement or Supply Chain is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance roles.
- Experience working for a large international company; Consumer Goods and Shared Service Centre experience is preferred.
- Experience with change management transitions in a multicultural environment.
- Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders as a strategic business partner.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
- Growth mindset and ability to create strategically aligned plans.
- Knowledge of sourcing, supplier performance management and industry trends.
