What is the opportunity?
CACEIS Malaysia has been a cornerstone of asset servicing since 2008, evolving into a trusted hub of operational excellence within the global CACEIS network. Strategically located in IOI City, Putrajaya, the company employs over 1,200 skilled professionals, providing a broad spectrum of services to institutional clients across Europe.
Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm. Region: Malaysia.
What will you do?
- Participate in general ledger account keeping.
- Receive, record and pay supplier invoices and expense reports.
- Prepare intra-group invoices.
- Prepare and monitor balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform monthly general ledger account keeping for balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
- Handle the accounting treatment of payroll expenses and fixed assets.
- Produce monthly and annual financial statements under local and IFRS standards.
- Contribute to management reporting.
- Prepare annual tax returns and filings, including corporation tax, e-invoicing and stamp duty.
- Prepare and submit monthly inter-group reconciliations and reporting to Group Finance Consolidation.
- Participate in writing operational procedures and monitoring regulatory and accounting developments.
- Respond to enquiries from other CACEIS business units.
- Contribute to the optimisation of regulatory report production processes.
Regulatory treatment
- Prepare regulatory financial statements based on the entity's accounts.
- Prepare and/or control statements filed with oversight bodies.
- Track enquiries from oversight bodies.
- Calculate and communicate the reserve requirement.
- Ensure coherence between regulatory and statutory outputs.

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a finance discipline.
- Accounting designation strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, management reporting and financial planning and analysis.
- 6–10 years of minimum experience level stated.
- Working knowledge and application of accounting concepts within a financial institution.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
