In addition to possessing proficient knowledge of Associate, DC Operations responsibilities in their area of responsibility, the Senior Associate, DC Operations coordinates the flow of work in and out of the department and performs essential administrative tasks.

This role performs a variety of warehouse duties under general supervision, including selecting, packing, scanning, labeling, loading, unloading, material handling, value-added services, and other assigned functions to achieve projected volume and quality goals. The role also accurately processes orders in and out of the distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products.
  • Operate hand and power equipment for material handling as needed.
  • Operate machines as needed, including bagging and inflation machines.
  • Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately record production by task and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Train and work in multiple areas and both buildings.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Train and coach new hires.
  • Troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and suggest solutions and improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Competent computer skills using the internet, Windows, Microsoft Office, and adidas systems.
  • Ability to read, write, count, and distinguish colors.
  • Ability to use equipment including a box knife, RF scanner, and manual and powered equipment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Work in a warehouse environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Talk, hear, sit, stand, and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms, and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve hours per day.
  • Occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work safely on elevated surfaces, including a second-level mezzanine.
  • Reliably attend work and scheduled hours.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Schedule and Compensation

The night shift is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. The position pays $20.50 per hour with a $2 shift differential, for an advertised rate of $22.50 per hour.
