Within Controlling, the central function of the Finance & Risk board division, you will help shape the bank's financial future. The team drives data-based controlling and the digital transformation of Finance by combining business expertise with modern analytics, data and AI approaches.
Tasks
- Design data-driven solutions using modern data architectures such as DWH, Data Lake and Data Mesh in close cooperation with platform teams.
- Develop scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT and analytical data models such as Data Vault and Star Schema.
- Design and implement analytical data models for reporting, planning, controlling and advanced analytics.
- Conduct advanced analytics and data-driven analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Identify, assess and implement data-driven optimization and automation opportunities in Controlling.
- Evaluate new technologies and methods in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering for their value in corporate management.
- Ensure data quality, data governance, compliance and regulatory traceability.
- Build and further develop modern BI and reporting solutions, such as Power BI.
- Work closely with business departments and translate complex requirements into technical and analytical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on projects and mentor colleagues.

Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Architect or in a comparable technical data role.
- Proven practical experience developing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and analytical data models, including Data Vault, Star Schema, Kimball or 3NF.
- Very good knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, particularly Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Mesh and cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP or Azure.
- Experience in data governance, data lineage, data quality and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps and automation approaches, including Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and data models.
- Strong interest in digital technologies, artificial intelligence and data-driven transformation.
- Very good German and English skills.
