Senior ABAP Developer

About the job

As an ABAP Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

This is a hybrid role involving Capgemini offices, client sites, and home working. You will be unable to work from home 100% of the time.

Your role

• Deliver all WRICEF elements—Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms—within an ECC6.0 PSCD system using Tax & Revenue Management.

Your skills and experience

• In-depth knowledge of BRF+, WebDynpro, Workflow, NetWeaver Gateway Services, and ABAP Objects.
• Experience with S/4HANA ABAP development, including CDS Views, AMDP, code pushdown, code remediation, and performance optimization.
• Techno-functional expertise in SAP Tax & Revenue Management, HR, FI, and CRM.
• Experience with SAP UI and Fiori, including SAPUI5 development, Fiori app extensions, and OData service design.
• Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform, Integration Suite, and side-by-side extensibility.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills in complex enterprise environments.

Security clearance and pre-employment checks

Successful applicants must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance and must have resided continuously in the United Kingdom for the last five years, along with meeting other criteria.
