• Network architecture, including firewall rules
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft and Red Hat operating systems
• Cybersecurity
• Network security

Responsibilities

• Maintain the firm’s security standards and guidelines.
• Enforce policy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop policies, standards, and guidelines from scratch and modify existing ones.
• Define and review architecture for new server and VLAN setups.
• Provide IT security risk advisories to business teams.
• Assess infrastructure and application security and apply secure SDLC frameworks.
• Conduct and document application and system risk assessments using global standards and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Work with business and operations teams to identify process risks and assist with remediation.
• Apply OWASP, SANS, and NIST standards.
• Contribute to information security strategy and raise security awareness.
• Review firewall rules, with scope to expand based on success and integration of the core function.
• Understand vulnerability management processes and conduct related operational tasks.
• Conduct and maintain periodic follow-ups with business and application teams.
