SAP MM Consultant

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – SAP MM to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide Materials Management solutions on SAP S/4HANA. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable SAP MM architectures aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture, design, configuration, and delivery for SAP S/4HANA MM.
• Design end-to-end architectures covering procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
• Define integration strategies with SAP SD, PP, FI/CO, QM and non-SAP systems such as Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur.
• Gather requirements, lead fit-gap workshops, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Lead implementation projects through configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live.
• Collaborate with consultants, ABAP developers, and QA teams on enhancements and integrations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship while managing risks and conducting design reviews.
• Lead change management, user training, post-implementation optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Produce solution architectures, process flows, configuration guides, migration strategies, and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional SAP implementation and consulting experience, including at least 5 years focused on SAP MM.
• At least 3 years in a Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Senior Consultant role.
• Experience leading enterprise SAP MM implementations and hands-on SAP S/4HANA MM configuration.
• Expertise in purchasing, material planning, inventory management, vendor management, and procurement workflows.
• Understanding of integration with SAP SD, PP, FI/CO, and QM.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, OData services, data migration tools, ABAP enhancements, and SAP S/4HANA architecture.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
