Job Description
We are looking for a Senior SAP Functional Expert – Finance & Controlling (FICO) with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance to lead financial transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with S/4HANA innovations, strong knowledge of finance and controlling processes, and a passion for modernizing financial systems to enable real-time insights and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance, including FI and CO modules, across global entities.
- Translate finance and controlling business requirements into scalable S/4HANA solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices.
- Drive implementation of Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, Margin Analysis, Advanced Financial Closing, Group Reporting, Consolidation, and Central Finance.
- Define and deliver functional specifications for custom developments, APIs, BAPIs, and Fiori applications.
- Manage integration between Finance and MM, SD, PP, and PS modules.
- Support shared services, IFRS compliance, entity harmonization, faster close, and real-time reporting initiatives.
- Lead blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, migration, cutover, and hypercare activities.
- Collaborate with finance leadership, auditors, and IT architects to ensure compliance, performance, and scalability.
- Mentor junior consultants and business users.
- Contribute to presales activities and business growth.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP FICO experience, including at least 3 years on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Deep functional expertise in SAP FI and CO, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
- Experience delivering S/4HANA Finance migration, greenfield, or brownfield projects.
- Understanding of IFRS/GAAP, closing processes, and tax and legal compliance.
- Integration knowledge across logistics, manufacturing, and HR modules.
- Expertise in functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scenarios.
- Strong communication and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
