Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming) Consultant with at least 8 years of experience in SAP development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming, hands-on experience with the RAP model in S/4HANA, and a good understanding of Clean Core principles. Experience with Central Procurement Hub is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles by minimizing custom code in the S/4HANA core.
• Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with RAP-based services.
• Work on Central Procurement Hub scenarios, including integration and customization.
• Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in ABAP RAP, CDS Views, BOPF, and OData services.
• Experience with S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 development.
• Experience enhancing Fiori applications using S/4HANA extensibility.
• Solid understanding of Clean Core architecture and extensibility options.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Central Procurement Hub implementation or support.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Knowledge of SAP Event Mesh, Workflow, or BRF+.
• SAP Certification in ABAP or S/4HANA development.
