What will I be doing?
As a Sales Associate, you’ll be making our customers’ day, every day. Here’s what this looks like in action:
- Provide customers with an amazing experience, helping them with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns.
- Set up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and the latest fashions, while keeping a tidy and well-organised stockroom.
- Deliver a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
- Receive, unpack, and check off new deliveries. Get products onto the shop floor and ensure they are correctly priced while maintaining high standards.

Pay
The starting base hourly rate for this role is $17.00. This role is eligible for a $0.50 increase at both 6 months and 1 year of continued employment at Primark. The pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s geographic region of work.
Physical requirements and accommodations
To perform the essential functions of this position, colleagues must be able to constantly stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift, on hard-surface floors. The role includes frequently bending, stooping, crouching, reaching at or above shoulder level, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 pounds. Team lifts may occasionally be required for items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Colleagues must constantly perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including handling and processing merchandise, operating cash registers or other point-of-sale systems, and using handheld devices. The position requires movement throughout the sales floor and stockroom, occasional use of stairs or ladders where applicable, and occasional work in varying temperatures.
Depending on assigned responsibilities, colleagues may receive training on the safe use of balers, manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks. Colleagues under 18 are not permitted to use this equipment.
