Join the NIKE Team as a Department Manager
As a Nike Department Manager, also known as a Coach, you will lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an excellent customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported. You will use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.
Location and schedule: Nike Factory Store Williamsburg, Williamsburg, VA. Full-time, 34–40 hours per week, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
- One year of leadership experience
- Ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Experience using tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
- Availability for mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and keep store functions running seamlessly
- Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates
- Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed
- Lead store teams and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and the sales floor
