Retail Back of House Associate - Robson, 2068, Vancouver, Canada

Purpose

Assist customers in determining which products and services best fit their needs, promote merchandise sales, maintain inventory, provide customer service, and ensure accurate and complete sales transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting adidas merchandise and provide information about product materials, technology, and functionality.
• Uphold adidas customer service standards by listening to customers' wants and needs and providing product information.
• Drive and close sales using adidas selling techniques and the in-store AOS system where available.
• Complete customer sales transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Maintain store appearance, process and replenish merchandise, and assist with customer service inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of adidas products, programs, promotions, and advertising.
• Support a respectful team environment and adhere to adidas brand values, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with telephone duties and inventory control.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively to customers and employees.
• Basic understanding of point-of-sale systems, cash register functions, and cash procedures.
• Good judgment, decision-making, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, statutory holidays, and overtime during peak sales periods.
• Must be proficient in English and French, verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, and lift up to 12 kg frequently and up to 34 kg occasionally.

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months of retail experience is preferred.
