Role overview
As a Nike Retail Associate, known as an Athlete, you bring the “Just Do It” mindset to life. You serve consumers, help them discover products that inspire movement, and deliver the ultimate Nike store experience. You will work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment across store zones and consumer needs as part of a collaborative team.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $17.50.
Committing to your hours of availability and maintaining flexibility within those hours is a core component of retail employment. Standard shifts are generally scheduled between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM in the store’s time zone. Overnight positions may work shifts between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Specific schedules vary by location, season, business demands, store needs, and employment type.
Expected retail hours
- Full-time: 32–40 hours per week
- Part-time: 14–29 hours per week
- Seasonal: Up to 40 hours per week based on business need
- Part-time under: 5–15 hours per week

Qualifications
- Flexible scheduling and availability for retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and store needs.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Relocation support and work authorization assistance are not available.
