Retail Assistant
Location: Primark Southport
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Employment type: Fixed term contract, ending 05/12/2026
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Shifts will be discussed at interview.
Eligibility
Primark can only employ individuals who are above the compulsory school leaving age in the country where they will be employed. You must have the right to work in the UK. Applicants must be aged 18 or over where the role requires regular working hours before 6:00am or after 11:00pm, due to legal restrictions on the working hours of young workers.

What you’ll do
As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customers’ day, every day.
- Provide customers with an amazing experience by assisting them with sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
- Set up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and a sales floor that showcases the latest fashions.
- Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
- Receive, unpack and check off new deliveries.
- Get products onto the sales floor, ensuring they are correctly priced and meet Primark’s high standards.
