Retail Assistant
Location: Primark Hanley, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Employment type: Temporary, ending 02/01/2027
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 6 to 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends; all will be discussed at interview.
Eligibility
Primark can only employ individuals who are above the compulsory school leaving age in the country where they will be employed. You must have the right to work in the UK. Applicants must be aged 18 or over where the role requires regular working hours before 6:00am or after 11:00pm, due to legal restrictions on the working hours of young workers.

What you’ll do
- Provide customers with an amazing experience by assisting with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
- Set up an attractive shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and sales floors showcasing the latest fashions.
- Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
- Receive, unpack and check off new deliveries.
- Move products onto the sales floor and ensure they are correctly priced and meet Primark’s high standards.
