About the role
Primark is looking for a Retail Assistant to join its store in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, on a temporary Christmas campaign contract.
The role involves working 20 hours per week, four days a week from Monday to Sunday and public holidays. Available shifts are 5:00 to 13:00 or 14:00 to 22:00.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with an excellent experience by answering questions about sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
- Prepare the sales floor, replenish shelves, organise fitting rooms, display the latest trends and keep the stockroom organised.
- Offer a fast, friendly and efficient checkout experience, handling customer queries, cancellations and returns.
- Receive, process and check new deliveries, move products to the sales floor and ensure correct pricing.
Requirements
- Passion for working with people and creating great customer experiences.
- Honesty, good communication and active listening skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Teamwork, motivation, a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Interest in fashion and current trends.
- Previous experience in a dynamic retail environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of languages, including sign language, is valued.
