Retail Assistant Athlete - Temp PT 8H - St Helens

Nike St Helens is looking for a part-time Retail Assistant, known as an Athlete at Nike retail stores, to provide world-class service to consumers.

This is an 8-hour-per-week temporary contract through December 31, 2026.

What you bring

• Deliver exceptional consumer service and a premium brand experience through product knowledge.
• Assist retail leads and floor managers in training new employees.
• Support store departments, including operating the cash register, managing incoming and outgoing goods, replenishing products, and building visual displays.
• Recommend appropriate products to reach sales targets.
• Use digital devices to connect online and offline sales and services.
• Inform consumers and new teammates about Nike products and services.
• Develop product, service, culture, and sales-trend knowledge through Nike tools and training.

Qualifications

• Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
• Effective communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate.
• Ability to apply product sales techniques.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Availability

• Part-time availability.
• Full availability over weekends.
• Availability on some weekdays and evenings.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
